This flowing foam roller exercise promotes shoulder mobility, thoracic extension, and mindful movement—great for unwinding stiffness and improving range of motion.
How to Do It:
- Lie on a foam roller aligned along your spine, supporting your head and tailbone.
- Start with your arms relaxed at your sides, palms facing up.
- Slowly sweep your arms overhead in a wide arc, keeping them as close to the floor as possible without lifting.
- As you bring your arms back down, rotate your palms to face the floor—like you’re tracing a big circle around your body.
- Move slowly and smoothly through 10 reps.
This exercise gently opens the chest, shoulders, and upper back, helping you move more freely and breathe more deeply.
At Movement ReDefined, we believe in simple, intentional movements that create lasting change in how you feel every day.
