Dr. Ben Barrantes PT, DPT
Dr. Ben Barrantes has developed a niche area in the practice of Physical Therapy, specializing in one on one patient care. He enjoys working with individuals looking to decrease their pain, for a variety of sports and orthopedic conditions. This includes post operative rehabilitation, joint pain, arthritis, muscle strains, ligaments sprains, and sports related injuries. Dr. Ben has over 15 years experience working in the fitness industry, which he now also applies with his clinical level training to serve his clientele with the most optimal approach possible when achieving their set goals.
Danielle Pool
Exercise Specialist
Danielle is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who attended the University of California, Irvine. In 2018, she faced a life-changing challenge when she developed a neurological illness that required a year of physical therapy to relearn how to walk. This transformative experience sparked her interest in the fitness world, inspired by the support and expertise of her physical therapists and personal trainers. In 2019, Danielle obtained her personal training certification, fueling her passion for empowering others to achieve optimal health and overcome physical boundaries. Her journey embodies resilience and a commitment to helping others thrive in their wellness journeys.
Claire Folster
Director of Operations
Claire serves as Movement Redefined’s Director of Operations. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2022 with a major in social work and a minor in forensic psychology. She has spent time working overseas in various social work capacities as well as providing assistance to a physical therapist in Romania who works with children with varying disabilities. Additionally, Claire worked in foster care social work for two years, where she developed an array of skills in social services, advocacy, and administrative work. Claire has a passion for overall wellness: mind, body, and spirit, and desires to assist people in their wellness journeys. In her free time, she enjoys attending her church, hiking, and trying new coffee shops!
Vanessa Mercado
Personal Trainer
Vanessa is an ACSM-certified personal trainer with a background in blockchain development, now focused on helping people move better and live healthier, more active lives. She specializes in mobility and functional strength, aiming to improve quality of life well into later years. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys running, biking, rock climbing, and organizing community events like her neighborhood’s 5 a.m. morning walk.
