Median Nerve Glide Open Chain

This gentle nerve glide is a great way to relieve tension in the neck, shoulder, and arm—especially helpful if you feel tingling, tightness, or stiffness from repetitive movements or long hours at a desk.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall and raise one arm out to the side, elbow bent at 90°, palm facing up, wrist extended—like you’re balancing a tray.
  2. Slowly extend your elbow outward as you drop your ear toward your opposite shoulder.
  3. Return to the starting position.
  4. Keep your palm up and wrist extended throughout the movement.
  5. Move slowly and smoothly through 20 reps.

This movement helps glide the nerves through their natural pathways—restoring mobility without forcing a deep stretch.
