Median Nerve Glide with an Upper Trap and Levator Scapulae Stretch

If you’re dealing with neck tightness or nerve-related discomfort in your arm or shoulder, this simple yet effective stretch can offer relief.

In this short video, you’ll learn how to perform a Median Nerve Glide combined with an Upper Trapezius and Levator Scapulae Stretch—perfect for improving mobility and reducing tension.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall and gently place one hand on the top of your head.
  2. Extend your opposite arm out at about a 30° angle—halfway between straight out to the side and straight down.
  3. Begin the nerve glide by rotating your wrist in and out slowly.
  4. To deepen the stretch, turn your head slightly downward toward your armpit and gently press with the hand on your head.
  5. Breathe deeply and stay relaxed throughout the movement.

This combination targets both nerve mobility and neck muscle tension, making it a great addition to your daily mobility routine.
