Serratus Hug

This stretch helps activate and release the muscles between your shoulder blades—perfect for easing upper back tension, improving posture, and building shoulder control.

How to Do It:

  1. Lie on a foam roller aligned along your spine, with your head and tailbone supported.
  2. Reach your arms forward like you’re hugging a tree.
  3. Spread your shoulder blades apart, feeling a stretch across your upper back.
  4. Then gently squeeze your shoulder blades together before reaching forward again.
  5. Complete 10 controlled reps.

This movement encourages mindful shoulder blade mobility, which can reduce stiffness and improve posture—especially after a long day of sitting or working at a desk.
