Enhances spinal mobility and relieves lower back tension.
In today’s video, we’re demonstrating the Supine Modified Lower Trunk Rotation (LTR) — a gentle exercise designed to enhance spinal mobility, improve core stability, and relieve lower back tension. Perfect for rehab, recovery, and improving flexibility!
How to Perform the Exercise
Lie on your back with your legs extended.
Place one foot on the opposite quad to create a bent-knee position.
Gently rotate your bent knee across your body, allowing it to move toward the floor.
Keep your shoulders flat on the surface and your core engaged.
Hold the position briefly, then return to the starting position.
Repeat on the other side.
Tips for Success
Move slowly and avoid forcing the rotation to prevent strain.
Keep your shoulders grounded to isolate the stretch in your lower back and spine.
Focus on steady breathing to enhance relaxation and mobility.
This exercise is excellent for improving spinal flexibility, relieving tension, and strengthening your core. Add it to your routine for a healthier, more mobile spine!
