How to Perform the Exercise

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
  2. Engage your core by pressing your lower back into the floor.
  3. Press your knees outward, keeping your feet firmly planted.
  4. Focus on squeezing your glutes as you open your knees.
  5. Slowly return your knees to the starting position in a controlled motion.
