Dr. Ben Barrantes PT, DPT

Dr. Ben Barrantes has developed a niche area in the practice of Physical Therapy, specializing in one on one patient care. He enjoys working with individuals looking to decrease their pain, for a variety of sports and orthopedic conditions. This includes post operative rehabilitation, joint pain, arthritis, muscle strains, ligaments sprains, and sports related injuries. Dr. Ben has over 15 years experience working in the fitness industry, which he now also applies with his clinical level training to serve his clientele with the most optimal approach possible when achieving their set goals.

Dr. Ryan Cruz PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Ryan was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington before moving to Arizona, where he obtained his doctorate in physical therapy.

An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Ryan’s affinity for athletics has been a guiding force throughout his life. His trajectory into physical therapy was catalyzed during his tenure as a practice player on UW’s basketball team, where he first encountered the transformative power of rehabilitation and recovery.

Currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Ryan not only practices physical therapy but also coaches for the Phoenix Runnin’ Rebels youth basketball program, blending his love for sports with his expertise in therapy. His unique blend of personal experience and clinical proficiency uniquely positions him to treat a wide range of athletes.

Continuously seeking new challenges, Dr. Ryan recently embraced CrossFit, broadening his approach to rehabilitation, particularly for overhead athletes. His dedication to excellence and client well-being sets him apart in the field of physical therapy.

Chad Snider

Director of Operations

Chad serves as Movement Redefineds Director of Operations. He graduated from  Grand Canyon University in 2015 with a major in sports management and a minor in accounting. In 2019 he received his masters in business administration from GCU. He’s halfway through his doctorate in performance psychology. Chad has served many roles in leadership and business development. His passion is in people and developing a culture that promotes individual growth and pushing the limit to be the best version of yourself. This is obtained through comprehensive exercises, manual treatment and overall wellness. We are here to make your life better and get you back to where you were before and even better! In his personal time, Chad enjoys attending his church, spending time with his fiancée, and watching his Miami dolphins!

Nancy Rangel

Director of Client Relations

Nancy Rangel, works as Movement Redefined’s Physical Therapy and Wellness Director of Client Relations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through Grand Canyon University in 2017. Nancy has an extensive background in customer relations support roles and management. She has a passion for helping people and ensuring all clients here at Movement Redefined Physical Therapy and wellness receive the best possible experience and see results. She strives to improve our services and make sure we’re doing everything we can to make your experience great. 

Vanessa Fenton

Personal Trainer

Hello! I’m Vanessa, a passionate individual dedicated to holistic health and wellness. Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Exercise Science, I plan to graduate in April 2024. As a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Coach, I am committed to empowering individuals on their fitness journey.

In addition to my experience in exercise and nutrition, I am a certified Flexologist, combining flexibility and mindfulness to enhance overall well-being. I find joy and helping others achieve their fitness goals and believe in a holistic approach to health that includes both physical and mental well-being. 

In my personal time, I enjoy camping, hiking and practicing yoga.

Darien McKinley

Personal Trainer

Darien is a Phoenix native and has always had a passion and love for sports and helping others. He was a 3 sport athlete in high school as a player in football, basketball and track and field. He then competed 4 years as a sprinter and hurdler at The University of Arizona. Upon graduating Darien became a personal trainer and Head high school Track and field Coach. Darien has been a certified trainer for 10 years. He has helped develop youth and collegiate athletes in multiple sports.
