The Flexion PB (Physio Ball) Wall Stabilization Series is an excellent way to improve shoulder stability, especially during rehab or as part of a mobility routine. Using a physio ball adds an element of instability, helping activate deep stabilizer muscles and improving joint control.
How to Do the Flexion PB Wall Stabilization Series
Step 1:
Stand facing a wall and place your affected arm on a physio ball at chest height.
Step 2: Up & Down Movements
Gently roll the ball up and down in small, controlled motions.
- Reps: 10
- Tip: Keep steady pressure on the ball and avoid shoulder shrugging.
Step 3: Side-to-Side Movements
Shift the ball left and right, engaging your shoulder throughout.
- Reps: 10
- Tip: Focus on maintaining smooth, stable motion.
Step 4: Clockwise Circles
Move the ball in clockwise circular motions, keeping the range small and consistent.
- Reps: 10
Step 5: Counterclockwise Circles
Repeat the same movement in the opposite direction.
- Reps: 10
Variation:
To increase the challenge, use both hands on the ball. This not only intensifies the shoulder work but also adds a core stability component.
This series is a great way to build control, strength, and confidence in your shoulder — perfect for rehab, warm-ups, or functional movement training.
